Dr. Ron Patel is a board certified, fellowship trained Interventional Pain Management specialist with over 12 years of experience treating the Jacksonville, FL community. Dr. Patel earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University School of Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where he graduated top 5% of his class. After completing an internship at Nassau County Medical Center in Long Island, NY. He then completed his residency training in Anesthesiology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.

Dr. Patel developed a passion for helping those in pain and pursued an Interventional Pain Management Fellowship at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY.

Dr. Patel has held many impressive positions throughout his career such as Medical Director of Anesthesiology, Chief Operating Officer, and U.S. Navy physician for the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management. He is proficient and well-versed in all Interventional Pain Management injections and procedures with a special interest in spine and joint care.  Dr. Patel’s medical philosophy is to place the patient first. He utilizes a multidisciplinary approach with the most advance treatment options to individualize treatment plans for each patient. He places compassionate care at the forefront in his approach to treating patients. Dr. Patel is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
