Paul S. Roettges, MD

Dr. Paul Roettges is a board certified, and fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon. He attended University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA, where he completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Dr. Roettges continued on his educational training and received his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, IL. He went on to study and complete a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Arizona, Banner University Medical Center, in Tucson, AZ. Following his residency, he completed a fellowship in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction at the renowned Mayo Clinic in his hometown of Jacksonville, FL.

Dr. Roettges has spent his career perfecting the direct anterior total hip replacement as well as performing hundreds of knee replacement surgeries each year. He is on the leading edge of innovation and was the first surgeon at Flagler Hospital to utilize the MAKO for robotic assisted knee replacement.

Dr. Roettges strives to take time with each patient to thoroughly review their condition, imaging studies and craft an individualized treatment plan. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Association and American Association of Knee and Hip Surgeons.
