David B. Remias, MD

Dr. David Remias is a board-certified, fellowship-trained non-operative sports medicine specialist. Dr. Remias attended the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine for his doctoral degree. He then completed a residency in Family Medicine and a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Presence Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Following his fellowship, Dr. Remias served on an American Indian reservation in Tohatchi, NM as well as in Crownpoint, NM where he provided medical care to the Navajo Indian population. After this time, he began his practice as a sports medicine and urgent care physician with Ascension St. Vincent’s where he served the local Jacksonville community for five years.

Dr. Remias continues to be an active member of the Jacksonville community and has participated in the Ascension St. Vincent’s Medical Mission at Home, which provides free medical care to those who have limited access. Dr. Remias has served as the team physician for local high schools including First Coast Christian Academy and Nease High School. Prior to moving to Jacksonville, he also served as the team physician for North Park University in Chicago, IL. Dr. Remias is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, American Academy of Family Physicians, and Florida Academy of Family Physicians.

In his free time, Dr. Remias enjoys performance training, playing golf and basketball, car detailing, coffee, and Turfgrass Science.
