Alex J. Brown, MD

Dr. Alex Brown is a board-certified and fellowship-trained non-operative sports medicine specialist. Dr. Brown has over 12 years of experience in an urgent care and family medicine setting, serving the Jacksonville community. Dr. Brown attended East Tennessee State University- Quillen College of Medicine for his Medical Degree. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati, which was followed by a Pediatric Sports Medicine Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Brown has worked for many well-respected healthcare organizations in the Northeast Florida area, such as Ascension St. Vincent’s, and University of Florida Health. He brings a passion for treating patients’ symptoms thoroughly and conservatively.

Dr. Brown is an active member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine and the American College of Physicians.

In his free time, Dr. Brown enjoys running, helping to coach his children’s sports teams, and spending time with his wife and five children.
