Dr. Balduyeu's is a great communicator!!! He explains the process of the procedure that he will perform before the procedure begins which makes me feel very informed. During the procedure he tells you about what you may feel during each step which prepares me mentally for the prep work and the process. I have seen Dr Pavel on several occasions for injections in my lower back. Each time the experience from start to finish was more than satisfactory. I had pain in the outside of my right hip. Dr. Pavel did manipulations with my leg to conclude that is was not in the joint. After a shot in the bursa and Physical Therapy there was some improvement but not resolution. Dr. Pavel had an MRI ordered for my lumbar spine and it was noted that there was nerve impingement on multiple levels. He followed up with injections at two levels where the nerve roots exited the spine on the right side. I am completely pain free at this time and am so thankful to Dr. Pavel for his tenaciousness in solving this problem.Patient Submitted Review

With issues of the lumbar back and nerve issues, my doctor was following protocol for PT and injections. I was sent to Dr. Pavel Balduyeu for the injections. At 78 this is not my first injection. Dr Balduyeu Is at the top of his league. Easy appointment with such compassion. I had many questions which were address with bottom line answers. This doctor, which I extremely recommend, can do my injections without worry. I have been seeing Dr. Pavel for pain management for over two years now. I am 54 and well, my quality of life was terrible. I have multiple back and nerve issues, arthritis, restless leg among other things. He worked on a plan with me and with this plan I have gotten so much relief that I’m able to do stuff again. Dr. Pavel saved my life!! Let me start off by saying that not all doctors care and are attentive to their patients concerns or ailments such as Dr. Pavel. They're a few out there and hard to find. Dr. Pavel is one of a kind. I came to Dr. Pavel after having had L4-L5 Lumbar surgery at another practice which prior to I had no quality of life and was in constant debilitating pain. I was being treated under another spine specialist who also performed the surgery and after the operation I was still having a substantial amount of pain. Dr. Pavel always listens to me and my concerns, he asks questions, he cares about his patients and is always very engaged with every appointment we have. About a month ago my pain was horrendous! Dr. Pavel ordered and referred me to have another MRI done and because he did that we were able to find out that my disk re-herniated. Out of all the other doctor's care that am under, he's the only one that sent the referral and took a step further to investigate my situation and find a solution. He goes the extra mile most doctors won't!! I'm still being treated under Dr. Pavel, I feel much better and I'm truly thankful to him and Alanie (the office manager) who've made my life a lot easier and bearable given the pain and situation that I find myself in. Honestly, I don't know where I would be without Dr. Pavel and his team. I highly recommend Dr. Pavel if your having any pain issues. I saw him a few weeks ago to get a second opinion. After discussing my issue, he suggested a less invasive procedure, which I was glad to hear and set up an appointment. Yesterday was my second appt and procedure. He explained everything step by step. My only regret is that I did not go to him months ago when my back pain first started. It’s now one day after my procedure and I have no back pain at all and I am able to bend without any hesitation. He is definitely not a "talk down to you" kind of guy; do not be afraid to ask him questions - he'll discuss your concerns with you until you are comfortable.
