Dr. Chris Goll is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand, wrist and elbow procedures. Dr. Goll received his medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. He completed his residency at the University of Florida at Shands Jacksonville, in Jacksonville, FL and a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Dr. Goll remains committed to serving the North Florida community, which he began during his time as a University of Florida student.

This was my 1st hand surgery for Trigger Finger. Dr. Goll held my hand and looked at it. He said, "I can fix this!" I was scheduled for surgery, and the experience was heartfelt. His staff was so welcoming, and friendly my fear went away. I was so busy laughing and talking with them I realized I had already had the surgery, and on my way home. The Dr and his staff was on point, professional, but courteous! They explained everything in terms that I could understand. For my appointments he was ontime or just a few minutes behind, not like other Dr's where you are waiting for an hour. I have been seeing.Dr.Goll for a while now for both my hands I asked him serious carpal tunnel issues. I was seeing him for shots that helped temporarily into the I couldn't take them anymore and then suggested carpal tunnel release surgery. Well that was the best decision I ever made. Sincerely, one of the best doctors I’ve seen. Dr. Goll is a rare exception in the US Medical Care system, I’m used to drs not even being able to even look at you in the eye or not even show up to the appointment having their PA deal with it, and if they do they will only give you 1 minute of their attention. Dr Goll is an amazingly skilled surgeon with compassion for his patients and compassion for his work. I have been a patient since the late 1990’s and searched for him when he changed medical groups. He has performed 5 of my 7 different hand surgeries between my two hands with great success! He’s going to perform another trigger finger surgery on another finger in addition to carpal tunnel surgeries and surgery for Dequervain’s. Underwent first dorsal compartment release recommended to relieve pain from De Quervain Tenosynovitis. I feel I had a very positive experience. Goll team checked my insurances for coverage. Scheduled me for surgery within 2 weeks of last exam. Surgery One has a very easy on-line check in process. I've been seeing Dr. Goll for many years. I first met him when my father (in his late 80's) required elbow surgery. The care he gave him was far beyond what I had ever experienced. Since then he performed surgery on my wife's broken wrist and carpal tunnel surgery on both of my hands. We will not go to anyone else. I have only had one visit to the office but let me tell you from the time I walked in the office to the time I walked out every person including the doctor and staff were professional and kind to my needs and I had my plan of action in place. The doctor gave me good advice and just what needed to be done to heal from a very bad fall including I had fractured a bone in both my hands. The ER I had gone to didn’t see any fractures in their X-rays so I did follow up with my primary doctor and she sent me to where I was comfortable. Southeast Orthopedic has cared for my husband, daughter and now me. All the doctors we have seen have taken great care of us and we will continue to do what is needed to heal and get back to normal activities and feeling whole again by their care. Dr. Goll is awesome. I am a stenographer/court reporter, and he injected me in right thumb area for degenerative arthritis in 2020, informed me at that time this is a repetitive motion of thumb(s) for years, arthritis you don't want, and he wished I had carpel tunnel instead, easier. However, symptom free until 6 months ago, and it's back, just went for injections bilaterally, and I believe Dr. Goll when he said I should be feeling a lot better in 2 days. I was seen at my scheduled time. The radiology technician was efficient, polite, and considerate of my symptoms while taking the radiographs. The medical assistant updated my records before doctor came in, she was very professional, asking detailed questions concerning my current symptoms. Dr. Goll is extremely thorough during his initial examinations. I appreciate his willingness to be personable and he listens; Dr. Goll let me explain what I was feeling before he proceeded with treatment. Before treatments, he explained to me, what he saw on the ultrasound; Dr. Goll allowed time for me to question what I was seeing. I broke my left radius close to the wrist pretty badly at the end of June. I was afraid I would lose some precious functions. I was able to see him very quickly. After introducing himself, he asked me what I liked to do! I was so happy he was primarily interested in helping me get my life back as completely as possible. The surgery center was ten times better than any hospital. The staff was busy, professional and still warm and very natural with each other. It’s a well oiled machine. He had to give me a plate and pins to hold the tiny bone pieces together. In 5 days post op, the pain was down to acetaminophen level. I took It about two or three times then that was it. Not even that was needed. People had to keep reminding me that my arm was still broken! In two weeks I was back to playing guitar. I’m so thankful for the blessing of his help. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Goll. He performed surgery on my wrist after I broke it falling while snowboarding in CO. When I returned to FL, his office gave me an immediate appointment after others would not. At my first consult, I immediately learned that Dr. Goll has great "bedside manner". He comes across as friendly and sensible and several staff members at the surgical center later remarked about his exceptional skill. Dr. Goll and his team explained everything to my satisfaction each step of the way, and the entire process of events from initial consult to final post-op visit went on-schedule and perfectly. I had very little out of pocket expense with my insurance, and no insurance issues arose. I was especially touched when I met Dr. Goll for the final time at my 6-week post-op appointment...he seemed so genuinely impressed with my healing that he was very enthusiastic about it. That made me feel great! Not only because it was unexpected to have made such significant improvement in a short time, but that the person sitting across from me seemed to genuinely care about my recovery and he was excited for me. Must admit folks have been seeing more and more petty behavior in medical with all of the changes and what people call "the new way". "The new way" should never be accepted by the people. Top hand surgeon. I went in with pain and left pain free. In fact the following week I scheduled for my right hand carpal tunnel surgery and at night I slept like a baby. During Christmas, I broke, not one but both wrists snowboarding. I went to Southeast Orthopedics and saw Dr. Goll am so very glad I did. In looking at my fractures, he recommended surgery to ensure I get full range of motion back. I work with my hands and felt that was the better choice. The surgery went great, and the healing time was so much shorter. I am still regaining strength in both hands, but I am so very pleased with the result. Three years ago Dr. Goll did Carpal Tunnel Release surgery on both my hands. Surgery went well, and I am very happy with the results. A few months ago I saw him for trigger finger release. Again surgery went well, and I am very happy repeat patient. Dr. Goll has an excellent bedside manner and listens to his patients. Excellent physician. Confident, but not prideful. I had been searching for answers to my elbow pain for over 3 months. After some plain x-rays and a few simple manipulations of my elbow/hand Dr. Goll confidently explained what was causing the pain, explained the prognosis, told me all the other things I could try that wouldn't work and sent me down the hall to be fitted for a custom brace. Absolutely one of the very BEST hand specialist in Jacksonville. Dr Goll has performed surgery on each of my wrist for the carpal tunnel syndrome condition. He had also cleared up a tunnel leading to my middle finger that had been crushed and restored complete usage of that finger. If surgery wasn't necessary, he gave me a shot in my fore-finger that had the trigger finger syndrome. I had complete recovery after each operation and was free of pain. Dr. Goll is an excellent surgeon. He performed arthroplasty surgery on my left wrist May 10. He explained the procedure and answered all my questions. My cast was removed May 23 and I began physical therapy. I went to physical therapy and also did the exercises at home three to five times daily. Dr. Goll was very pleased with my progress. I would recommend Dr. Goll to anyone with hand problems. He will perform the same surgery on my right wrist later.Patient Submitted Review

I met with Dr. Goll, who completed X-rays and an analysis of my injury. He took the time to discuss my upcoming surgery (to install a plate in my arm) and my prognosis in detail. I was scheduled for outpatient surgery two days later.\r \r The surgery, recovery and post surgical checkups went very well and I was given the OK to resume my normal activities.
