Dr. Sina Kasraeian is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty certification in Orthopedic Sports Medicine. He completed medical school and his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University of Southern California, training at the USC/Los Angeles County Medical Center—one of the top trauma centers in the country—where he gained significant experience in fracture care and developed a special interest in arthroscopy and sports medicine reconstructive procedures. During his Sports Medicine & Arthroscopy Fellowship at the prestigious Southern California Orthopedic Institute, he trained among pioneers of shoulder, knee and foot & ankle arthroscopy. He is fellowship trained in shoulder, elbow, knee as well as foot & ankle arthroscopy and reconstructive procedures.

Great bedside manner. I have a new left shoulder and it is taking time to get use to it, but a like the results. I had some numbness, but it is slowly resolving. I have full range of motion. I am limited lifting and need more strengthening exercise. I have restarted physical therapy for that purpose. I rate my experience and Dr. Sina Kasraeian as 5 stars.

De Kas is so nice , kind and caring . I had some issues with my insurance the morning off my surgery and he came in the waiting room and talked to me and reassure me. He was able to perform an ACL surgery without using a graft and he was also very happy and confidant with how it worked out . I would highly recommend him to anyone needing an Ortho. Very knowledgeable and professional ! And very nice and sweet .

First impression... I wasn't sure what to think. Second visit. He spent more time with me and talked with me and I got a better feel for him as a doctor and I realize that he's really good at what he does. He's also a really good teacher because he had students with him that day. He had a lot of patience with them and he explained everything after getting my permission to let him do that. The third visit was also very informative. He spent time answering questions. So the first impression wasn't the best but after that he has really impressed me. Next is surgery so I will let you know how that goes.

Highly Recommend Dr K. I am sixty years old and he is the best doctor I have dealt with over the years. He is professional, knowledgeable in his profession. So caring and amazingly helpful. From the front staff and the physicians assistant Garrett. You are treated so kindly and the Dr knew his stuff and had no problem answering my questions. Again, the physicians assistant Garrett was so personable and helpful. Didnt feel rushed and treated great! So glad I came here for my orthopedic issues.

Dr. Kasraeian was very friendly and helpful during my appointment. He helped set up a date for me to get an MRI to check out my injury and gave me helpful advice about how to treat the injury in the meantime. He also helped identify that there wasn’t a major injury to the bone based on the X-rays taken by the staff, which was good to know. I would have appreciated suggestions about what specific injury I could have gotten based on the symptoms I described, but I forgot to ask during the appointment so that is on me. My shoulder was broken, crushed, everything torn, frayed and detached and Dr Kas did a miracle, or as he put it, 'a full fellowship' inside my shoulder! And through 7 tiny little incisions without opening up my shoulder. He minimized my pain by doing such a meticulous repair. My physical rehab, done at S.T.A.R.S. in World Gulf Village, has been very productive and I am making great strides on my recovery which I contribute to the exceptional skills of my surgeon, Dr Kasraeian and a great physical therapist!Patient Submitted Review

Very friendly and efficient staff, no waiting to see the Doctor. Dr. Kasraeian demonstrated concern and performed a few simple physical tests to evaluate my shoulder pain then went over my x-ray to explain what was causing the pain and the options to relieve pain, He took the time to answer all my questions pointing to the x-ray as he explained it in non medical terms which could be understood. He never talked over my head nor ignore or try to rush me out the office, likeable and friendly person who is a credit to his profession. I came Dr Kasraeian with shoulder pain. During the exam he spent the first 10 minutes asking me questions, asking me if certain positions were painful, then prescribed a progressive treatment (with the last & least desirable option surgery). I have seen him 4 times with very effective PT in between. We aren't t there yet, but I have learned to trust his plan (& I have trust issues.)Patient Submitted Review

Dr. Kasraeian is very knowledgeable, and made sure I understood what was going on. I visited due to a knee injury from sports, mainly my ACL. He explained how each part connects to my knee, the damage currently going on, and next steps to take with a model of the knee (this is something that helped me a lot). I am very young and did initially go into my appointment very nervous about what would happen, especially with surgery, but after speaking with Dr. Kasraeian I feel much better moving forward and feel confident that under his care I will get back to functioning at 100%. He gave possible decisions moving forward and broke down common patterns he saw per age group when it comes to ACL surgery; it helped me truly understand what decisions to make and how they would affect me. After my appointment, I felt very educated about what decisions I had for surgery, and now viewed it in a positive manner. After my initial visit, I am very pleased with my overall experience with Dr. Kasraeian, his ARNP Ashton Phillips, and the practice in general. I felt listened to and understood, and not at all rushed, which was nice. Very good communication! Dr. Kasraeian took the time to learn the nature of my injury, the history of what has happened since my injury, what my options are going forward. Dr. Kasraeian and his team Ashton and Kristy were absolutely amazing. So glad I selected him. He’s super kind, listened to everything I had to say and really showed he cared about me and what I was going through. What sticks out the most is right before surgery he came in and said to me “ I am going to take care of your shoulder as if it were my own”. He went above and beyond to help me. He did surgery in the early afternoon and came in my room in the middle of the night. I told him I was hurting and he redid all the bandages. We have been very happy with the service and professional care Dr. Kasraeian has given my husband. After injuring his arm Christmas Eve my husband tired getting an appointment with another orthopedist that had done surgery on him 6 years ago but no doctors were in that office for the 2 weeks after Christmas! We called St. Augustine Orthopedics and was seen the very next day and had an MRI that same day. Dr. Kasraeian did not push my husband to have surgery but gave him options and left the decision up to us. Dr Kas is an amazing Dr. Although he does not work at a pediatric hospital,I took my 6 year old to him for knee surgery. I had been to 3 other pediatric knee specialists, who said that nothing was wrong with my sons knee. Kasraeian did my bucket handle meniscus repair surgery and he’s so awesome. The surgery went perfect even though it is a tough recovery and high chance of retear (it’s been 6 months and so far so good). He always answered all my frantic questions and was so thorough about the aftercare check ups. It was definitely scary to get this kind of injury and I ended up being so lucky to get this doc!
